That was pretty much the same question I was asking myself before I decided to take the plunge online quite a long time ago. It's also a very legitimate question to ask. If I can't legitimately run my own business from home, then what's the point of me even starting my own business online. It was definitely exciting for me, for sure. Becoming an Affiliate. When I started working online, this was definitely one of the methods to generate income that I came across. I had some success with this, but I quickly realized that it wasn't really for me. Will I ever consider becoming an affiliate again? Not sure. Regradless, this is a great way to do buiness online, and there are a lot of people that are making a lot of money using this method in particular. So, how do you make money as an affiliate? Essentially, what you are doing is selling other people's products. Let me give you an example.

Let's say I have a website and I'm looking to sell other people's products on my website. So, I find your website, and I see that you have the option of others selling your products. So I decide to sell one of your computers on my website, and your "affiliate commission" is fifty percent. What this means is that for every computer of yours that I sell, I get half of it's worth in terms of how much it was priced at. So, if your computer that I sold was one thousand dollars, I would get five hundred of that. So, in a nutshell, that's what it is to become an affiliate online.

Another option is to have others advertise on your site and get paid for it. One of the more popular ways is using Google's Adsense program. Essentially, you place some code on your site. To keep it simple, this code will generate ads that will show up on your website. Everytime one of your visitors clicks on one of those ads, you just made some money. So, those are some ways to make money online. Just remember though that there are a lot of ways to make money online, and it's up to you to decide what's best for you.
